A Trinity alumnus and former team captain, Hamada knows what it takes to win at the highest level—and he’s bringing that passion and expertise to his coaching. Originally from Alexandria, Egypt, Hamada grew up immersed in squash, earning high rankings as a junior player and competing against some of the best players in the world. At Trinity, he made his mark as a four-year starter, helping the team secure two College Squash Association (CSA) National Championships and four NESCAC titles. He graduated in 2015 with a degree in political science and a stellar record of 66 wins to just 12 losses.

A year later, he was named head coach, stepping into the role with energy and vision. In his first season, he guided the team to an undefeated dual season, a runner-up finish in the national championship, and saw his top player reach the individual championship final. After an impressive first season, Hamada and his staff earned the NESCAC Coaching Staff of the Year award.

Before returning to Trinity, Hamada spent four years as the assistant men’s squash coach at Princeton University, where he helped the Tigers consistently rank among the top teams in the country. Beyond college squash, he has coached at the highest levels, working with both the U.S. and Egyptian national teams, and nationally ranked players.

Hamada’s coaching philosophy focuses on hard work, resilience, and the joy of the learning process. Whether leading his players through an intense training session or offering personalized advice on technique, Hamada is dedicated to helping each player reach their full potential.
