Trinity Squash Camps FAQs

1. What is the schedule?
Sample Daily Camp Schedule:
Sunday:
4:30pm – 6:30pm Squash
Monday – Wednesday:
7am – 8am: Wake-up, shower, and prepare for the day
8am – 8:45am: Breakfast
9am – 11:45am : Squash
12pm – 2pm : Lunch /Break
2pm – 5pm : Squash/Video Analysis/Mental Training
5pm – 6pm: Dinner
6pm – 8pm: Evening activities organized by Camp Counselor
Thursday:
7am – 8am: Wake-up, shower, and prepare for the day
8am – 8:45am: Breakfast
9am – 11:45am: Squash
12:30pm: Check-out from Dorm
2. When and Where is Check-In for Camps?
Overnight campers check-in is on Sunday between 2 pm – 3 pm.
Location check-in for Overnight Campers: Dorm and exact location for meeting will be sent out for each week of camp
Overnight campers will play squash from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm. Please have your gear ready and be prepared to play.
Day Campers – campers check in at 4:00 pm at the lobby of Ferris Athletic Center: 300 Summit St, Hartford, CT 06106
3. What are the Required Camp Forms?
Health and Medical – The Connecticut State law requires campers to submit the following forms in order to participate in Trinity Squash Camps.
Health Assessment Record
Youth Camp Health Exam Record
Authorization for the Administration of Medication by School, Child Care, and Youth Camp Personnel
Individual Plan of Care
Release of Liability Form – Parents and campers are required to complete and sign the Trinity Squash Camp release of liability form before or at camp check-in.
All forms will be provided to you after you complete our online camp registration.
4. When is Check-Out?
The Trinity Squash Camps will conclude at 12pm on Thursday.
Day Campers – a parent or a guardian must sign out their children at the end of camp.
Overnight Campers – Counselors will chaperone campers back to the dorm to change, pack, and check out.
Parents can pick up their children at the dorm.

5. How does transporation work to and from evening activities?
Campers will be transported in a school bus to and from after squash activities.
Campers will be supervised at all times during the planned Trinity Squash Camp evening activities.
There will always be coaches and counselors on duty at all times.
6. Where will campers stay for overnight camp?
Overnight campers will lodge on campus in an air-conditioned dormitory at Trinity College.
Campers will be chaperoned by counselors or coaches to and from the dorm, regardless of age.
Coaches and counselors will be in the same dorm as the campers.

7. What should I pack?
Squash Gear – squash shoes, eyewear, rackets
2 Changes of squash clothes for each day
Daily non-squash clothes (5 evenings), include a sweatshirt for cool evenings
Flip flops
Water bottle
Running shoes
Rain Jacket
Towels and linens
8. Are meals included?
Meals are provided.
Campers will be escorted to all meals by coaches and counselors regardless of age.
